Job description

Registered Nurse
Location: S Parade, Speke, Liverpool L24 2SF, UK
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours)
Salary: starting from £33,353.66

At MSI UK, our success rests on our dedicated team and client-focused approach. As a leading provider of sexual and reproductive healthcare, we aim to empower clients' reproductive choices for a more equal world for everyone. Through personalised care, we prioritise our clients' needs and experiences every step of the way.

Looking for a role where you can work autonomously while still feeling part of a supportive team?

Our Liverpool centre is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join us in delivering compassionate abortion and contraception care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their day, building strong relationships with clients and working within a small, welcoming team where every contribution matters.

Although you'll be based in Liverpool, you'll remain closely connected to colleagues across the North West. Around once a month, you'll travel to our Manchester centre for team meetings, with occasional additional visits for training and development. We'll reimburse your travel costs, so staying connected couldn't be easier.

What your week could look like
You'll be supporting clients through their consultation and treatment journey, ensuring they feel informed, reassured and cared for. As this is predominantly a lone-working role, you'll have the confidence to make clinical decisions independently, while always having the support of experienced colleagues when you need it.

Alongside meaningful clinical work, you'll benefit from:

  • Free on-site parking
  • Monday to Friday working with no night shifts or unsociable hours
  • Monthly team days in Manchester to collaborate with colleagues with travel fully reimbursed
  • Excellent opportunities to develop your clinical skills and progress your career within MSI UK

Is this you?
You'll be an experienced Registered Nurse with an active NMC registration who is committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care. You'll enjoy working independently, communicate confidently with clients and colleagues, and share our belief that everyone should be able to access high-quality reproductive healthcare without judgement.

Please note: This vacancy is open to experienced Registered Nurses only. Applications from newly qualified Nurses cannot be considered for this opportunity.

For more information on the role, please refer to the following job description: Apply through our website

How can MSI UK benefit you?
We offer a supportive, values-driven environment where your contribution is recognised and rewarded:

Financial & Rewards: Aviva pension (up to 5% employer contribution), Blue Light Card discounts (4,000+ perks), Cycle to Work scheme, season ticket loan, and long-service recognition rewards.
Wellbeing & Work–Life Balance: Opportunity to buy and sell annual leave, 24/7 GP access and EAP via Westfield Health, an extra day off for your birthday, accredited Mental Health First Aiders, family-friendly policies and a national employee recognition programme.
Learning & Career Development: Clear career pathways, paid training and development, accredited apprenticeships, and learning agreements to support your professional growth.

We’re proud to be a disability confident level two equal opportunities employer and give equal consideration to all qualified applicants without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity / expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or age.

MSI UK is committed to safeguarding: promoting the welfare and safety of everyone involved in the delivery or receipt of sexual and reproductive health services, especially children, young people and vulnerable adults.

We pride ourselves on having a Just and Learning Culture and recognise that successes or mistakes are the product of many factors and our learning focuses on changing systems and processes to make it easier for people to do their jobs safely.

Please note:

  • If you do not upload a CV or Resume, your application will not be considered.
  • This role is not eligible for sponsorship and successful applicants must have the right to work in the UK from day one of employment.
  • We consider applications as we receive them and reserve the right to close adverts early where we have received a sufficient number of applications.
