Job description

Temporary Administration Assistant

Location: Stirling
Hours: 9am-5pm, 2-3 days per week
Contract Type: Part-time, Temporary
Pay Rate: 14.50 per hour
Start Date: Immediate

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Administration Assistant to join a busy and collaborative team during a key period of growth and activity. Initially offered as a temporary assignment, the role has genuine long-term potential, with a permanent position anticipated following internal processes.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, supporting others, and being at the heart of a team's success. Whether you're starting your administrative career or bringing previous office experience, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

Working closely with the wider team, you will provide essential administrative support during a busy period, ensuring meetings and day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Arranging and coordinating meetings
  • Preparing agendas and supporting documentation
  • Taking accurate meeting minutes and distributing actions
  • Managing diaries and scheduling meetings through Microsoft Teams and Outlook
  • Preparing documents, reports, presentations and correspondence using templates
  • Proofreading and formatting documents
  • Supporting both virtual and in-person meetings and events
  • Maintaining action logs and tracking outstanding actions
  • Assisting with general office administration duties
  • Setting up meeting rooms and ensuring they are ready for visitors
  • Clearing away lunches and refreshments following meetings
  • Assisting with the upkeep of communal areas, including coffee machines and meeting spaces

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, adaptable and happy to get involved in all aspects of administration and office support.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous administration experience
  • Strong minute-taking skills with the ability to accurately capture key discussions and actions
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Outlook and Teams
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • The ability to manage confidential information professionally
  • A flexible, positive and team-focused approach

You do not need to be familiar with industry-specific terminology, but you should be confident taking minutes and producing accurate meeting records.

Additional Information

  • Temporary position with an immediate start
  • Initial requirement of 2 days per week, with flexibility to increase to 3 days per week when required
  • Hybrid working may available, with a mix of office and home working
  • Opportunity to be considered for a permanent position following internal approval processes
  • Candidates must be available to attend an interview with the client

If you're a hands-on administrator with excellent organisational skills and a willingness to support a busy team, we'd love to hear from you.

How to Apply:
If you have all of the above experience, we want to hear from you! Please apply by submitting your CV.
