Job summary
We're seeking dedicated physiotherapists to join our supportive MSK outpatient team at Christchurch, Bournemouth, and Poole Hospitals.

This is a fantastic opportunity to specialise in musculoskeletal outpatients and orthopaedics at an early stage in your career, gaining valuable experience within a highly regarded NHS service.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for providing specialist advice on the management of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals. Work without direct supervision and provide support, guidance, and training to peers, technical instructors, physiotherapy assistants, and students.

The post holder is accountable to the MSK Physiotherapy Manager.

The post holder is responsible for ensuring a high standard of clinical care for the patients under their management and supporting more junior staff to do likewise.

This post is not suitable for applicants who do not have any post registration experience.

• 12 - 18 Months post grad experience
• Post reg MSK outpatients Experience
• Post reg IP Orthopaedics Experience

Desirable

• Post reg Experience in Critical care
• Post reg Experience in inpatient therapies
• NHS experience
• Have worked as a registered physiotherapist within the last 1 year

Qualifications
Essential

• HCPC Registration
• B Sc (Hons)/MSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent

Desirable

• Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
• Member of a clinical interest group.

Other
Essential

• Ability to prioritise clinical workload with examples
• Effective verbal & written communication skills with examples
• Ability to work effectively in a team with examples

Desirable

• Excellent interpersonal skills with examples
