Job description
Premises Manager/Care Taker – High School Location: Middleton Contract: Temp ongoing Hours: * Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 3:00pm * School Holidays: 8:00am – 4:00pm We are currently recruiting for a Premises Manager to join a busy secondary school on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Premises Manager who enjoys maintaining a safe, secure and well-presented school environment. The Role As the Premises Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school site, ensuring it is safe, secure and operating efficiently. Key Responsibilities * Opening and closing the school each day * Acting as the schools keyholder * Ensuring all visitors are signed in and out correctly * Carrying out general maintenance and repairs across the school * Supervising and supporting the Apprentice Caretaker * Conducting routine health and safety checks * Liaising with contractors and reporting maintenance issues * Maintaining the security, cleanliness and upkeep of the premises * Supporting the school with all other general Premises Manager duties as required Requirements * Previous experience as a Premises Manager, Site Manager or Caretaker * Good practical maintenance and repair skills * Strong understanding of health and safety * Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively * An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) is essential If youre a reliable and proactive Premises Manager looking for your next temporary opportunity, wed love to hear from you.
