Job description

You will be supporting the manufacture of new equipment, through assembly of parts supplied against detailed drawings, working to company safety and quality standards as appropriate. Skilled Assembly Technician will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role does require being onsite 5 days a week. The salary for this role is up to £32k, depending on experience.

What youll be doing

Primary responsibility - Providing skilled elctro/mechanical assembly service to new build and legacy contract operations. Secondary responsibility - Generate reports as required following equipment survey and appropriate test reports following functional testing. Tertiary responsibility - Provide flexible and proactive approach that would allow movement between other areas of factory, also if skilled appropriately run some of the machine tools owned by the business About our company At SEA, we develop and deliver advanced solutions to make our world safer, cleaner and more efficient. Experience in an electro/mechanical assembly role Completed a recognised engineering based training programme or have appropriate experience Be able to understand and work from complex engineering drawings Work as part of a team or individually as work load requires Be able to generate reports and documentation that could be used to create repair plans and replacement part purchasing lists Be comfortable working with either electrical or mechanical equipment Join us and be part of something smaller - with 500 people in the UK and Canada - doing something bigger:
