Learning Support Worker
Location: CF3, Cardiff
Start Date: 2nd September
Contract: Long-term, full academic year with potential to extend
Pay: Weekly pay through Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Worker to join a welcoming 2-form entry primary school in the CF3 area from September. This is a long-term opportunity for the full academic year, with the potential for the role to be extended.
The successful candidate will support pupils both in and out of the classroom, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
The Role
- Deliver targeted interventions to support pupil progress.
- Work with small groups of children to develop key skills and confidence.
- Provide classroom support alongside the class teacher.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
- Support children's academic, social and emotional development.
Requirements
Applicants must have experience working with children in some capacity, including but not limited to:
- Nursery Practitioner
- Teaching Assistant
- Learning Support Assistant
- Childcare Worker
- Sports Coach
- Youth Worker
- Play Worker
- After-School Club Leader
- Residential Childcare Worker
A genuine passion for supporting children and helping them succeed is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
