SEN Learning Mentor – SEN School – Chigwell | September Start
Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning?
We are working with a welcoming SEN school in Chigwell that is looking to appoint a dedicated and caring SEN Learning Mentor to join their supportive team from September.
The school provides a nurturing and structured environment where pupils are supported with their emotional wellbeing, personal development, and engagement in learning. Staff work closely with students to develop confidence, encourage independence, and provide tailored support that meets their individual needs.
You will work as part of a collaborative team alongside teachers, pastoral staff, and specialist professionals to create a positive and inclusive environment where every pupil feels valued and supported.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND, social, emotional, or behavioural needs
- Be patient, empathetic, and able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Have a calm and positive approach when supporting pupils with challenges
- Be passionate about helping young people develop confidence, resilience, and independence
- Be able to work effectively as part of a wider school team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
