Job Description: The Business Domain Architect is responsible for aligning the organisations strategic
objectives
with its business capabilities, processes, and supporting technologies. This role involves partnering with business and technology stakeholders to develop and evolve the business capability model, business process model, and other key artefacts to achieve enterprise and functional strategies, capture new opportunities, and remediate strategic
challenges . In addition to this, the Business Domain Architect
must
act as a strategic advisor, shaping and delivering
initiatives
that transform the business operating model and how value is delivered to the customer. Core duties: Partner with business stakeholders to define and evolve the target business capability model, business process model, and other artefacts in line with enterprise and functional strategies Undertake capability maturity assessments and identify opportunities to transform the business operating model, including capabilities, processes, organisational structure, and governance, to capture new opportunities or remediate strategic pain points Document and maintain the current business architecture and relevant transition states required to realise the desired target state Translate the target state architecture into a set of strategic
initiatives
and roadmaps required to transform the business operating model and deliver increased value to the customer and/or other stakeholder groups Partner with the wider Enterprise Architecture function and Value Streams to
analyse
the impact of the target business architecture on data, applications, and infrastructure. Lead
on and/or support the development of business cases required to deliver the target business architecture Effectively communicate
complex
architectural concepts and transform roadmaps to stakeholders at all levels, including executives, business
leaders
and IT teams
Essential Skills: Experience in a
Lead
