Protocol Education is working alongside a welcoming and nurturing primary school in BS6 seeking a Positive Behaviour Facilitator to join their team.

This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ADHD, Autism and other learning differences, helping them engage positively with school life and reach their full potential.

The school is looking for someone who can provide consistency, encouragement and understanding, becoming a trusted adult for children who benefit from additional support throughout their day.

Whether your experience comes from education, youth work, care, psychology, support work, coaching or community settings, your skills could be exactly what this school is looking for.

The Role

As a Positive Behaviour Facilitator, you'll work closely with pupils who may require additional support with emotional regulation, behaviour, confidence and engagement.

Your daily responsibilities may include:

Providing 1:1 and small-group support

Helping pupils access learning within the classroom

Building positive, trusting relationships with children

Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing

Encouraging positive behaviour through consistency and encouragement

Adapting activities alongside teachers to meet individual needs

Modelling positive communication and social interaction

Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and wider school staff

Experience with SEMH, SEN, ADHD or Autism is advantageous, whether gained professionally or through personal experience, but isn't essential.
