TeamJobs are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Night Operations Coordinator to join a busy and fast-paced operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys problem-solving, coordinating people and managing multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment. Working as part of a dedicated operations centre, you will play a key role in ensuring service requests are handled efficiently and engineers are deployed effectively.
As a Night Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing incoming faults, coordinating engineer attendance and maintaining accurate system updates to ensure excellent service delivery.
Answer incoming calls from engineers, contractors, customers and third parties.
Log and update service requests using internal systems.
Allocate jobs to engineers based on location, skill set and priority.
Monitor and manage shared email inboxes.
Ensure urgent faults are escalated and attended within agreed timescales.
Update systems with job progress, closures and exceptions.
Monitor outstanding tasks and ensure all information is accurate and up to date.
Complete reports and maintain operational records.
Provide detailed handovers between shifts.
Liaise with engineers, contractors and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
We're looking for someone who has:
Previous administration, scheduling or coordination experience.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage a busy workload.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
A proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full training provided.
