Secondary Supply Teachers & Cover Supervisors | Brighton | Schools Need People They Can Rely On Every school has one thing in common—they need dependable people.
I'm fortunate to work closely with a number of excellent secondary schools across Brighton and the surrounding areas, and one conversation comes up time and time again.
"We just need reliable people."
Not necessarily people who can work every day.
Just educators who communicate well, enjoy working with young people and can be relied upon when they say they're available.
That's exactly the pool I'm looking to build.
What The Work Looks Like
Every week is different.
Some bookings are arranged well in advance.
Others come through on the morning they're needed, with schools often contacting me from 6:30am (and occasionally earlier) to arrange emergency cover.
That means there will be mornings where I'll be in touch from around 6:30am onwards if you're available.
The more reliable and responsive you are, the more schools get to know you—and it's not uncommon for schools to begin requesting familiar faces by name.
Opportunities Include
- Day-to-day Supply Teaching
- Cover Supervisor work
- Planned absences
- Emergency same-day bookings
- Long-term placements
- Ongoing opportunities throughout the academic year
Whether you're available one day a week or five, I'm happy to work around your availability.
Who I'm Looking For
I'd love to hear from:
- Qualified Teachers (QTS)
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
- Experienced Cover Supervisors
- Graduates considering teacher training
- Sports coaches, tutors and youth workers with experience leading groups
A driving licence isn't essential, but it can increase the number of schools you're able to access.
Why Work With Me?
I believe good recruitment is built on trust.
I'll take the time to understand your availability, preferred schools and career goals so I can make bookings that genuinely work for you—not just fill a timetable.
The educators who build strong relationships with schools often become the first people I call when the best opportunities become available.
