Job description

We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join a renowned family-run automotive business based in Wolverhampton. This company has been serving the local community for nearly 50 years, offering a supportive and rewarding environment for skilled technicians seeking long-term career growth.

Duties as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:

- Performing advanced diagnostics and electrical fault finding on a variety of vehicles - Conducting maintenance, servicing, and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles (vans) - Handling work such as timing belts, clutches, brakes, electrical diagnostics, and general vehicle servicing - Ensuring high-quality customer service, providing a seamless end-to-end experience - Accurately completing vehicle health checks, job sheets, and customer documentation - Working efficiently within set timescales to maximise productivity - Maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic at all times

Requirements:

- A minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician - Strong expertise in diagnostics, electrics, and mechanical repairs - Proven competency with timing belts, clutches, brakes, and electrical issues - Full UK driving licence is essential - MOT testing qualification is desirable but not essential - Positive 'can-do' attitude, with a focus on efficiency and quality workmanship - Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
