Job description
Looking for Part-Time English Teacher – SEMH School – North London – September Start, Fixed Term

I wanted to make you aware of a fantastic part-time English teaching opportunity at an outstanding specialist school in Mill Hill, North London.
Working Days:
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
  • Hours: 9:00 am – 3:30 pm
  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Salary: £150 - 240 per day
The school supports young people aged 8–18 with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, anxiety-related needs and pupils who have experienced disruption to their education. The setting is known for its therapeutic approach, small class sizes and strong pastoral support.

The school is looking for a teacher who can build positive relationships, adapt learning to individual student needs and inspire learners who may have previously struggled in mainstream settings.

• Mainstream English Teachers interested in specialist education


Compliance Requirements:

  • A valid DBS registered on the update service.
  • 2-3 professional references covering a minimum of 2-3 years of employment history.
  • Must be available for an immediate interview and start date.
  • Proof of right to work in the UK
  • Proof of national insurance
  • Proof of address (dated within the last three months)
  • Qualification documents
