SEND Teaching Assistant – New Career Opportunity for Graduates | September Start

We're looking for enthusiastic, proactive, and empathetic individuals to join our team as SEND Teaching Assistants, supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in schools from September.

This is an ideal opportunity for graduates from a range of backgrounds, particularly those with experience or a passion for:

  • Creative Arts
  • Dance
  • Drama
  • Music
  • Psychology
  • Sports Coaching
  • Education
  • Or any subject where you've developed excellent communication and people skills

What we're looking for:

  • Proactive individuals who can use their initiative

  • Availability to work 5 days per week during school hours (Monday–Friday)

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs on a one-to-one or small group basis
  • Helping to create an engaging, inclusive learning environment
  • Encouraging students' confidence, independence, and personal development
  • Working closely with teachers and other professionals to provide the best possible support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
