Job description
Nursing Manager | Surgical Ward| Dunedin, Reading | Band 6/7- equivalent salary dependent on experience | Full time- Fixed term 12 months Spire Dunedin Hospital is recruiting for a Ward Manager to join us for a 12-month fixed term contract to manage our inpatient wards. You will work with a supportive team that includes nurses, senior nurses and senior management, ensuringteams deliver effective patient care by providing excellent clinical and managerial leadership Spire Dunedin Hospital has been serving the Reading community for over 100 years, as a first-class medical facility. Based in the heart of Reading, the hospital has two theatres, 16 inpatient beds, three recovery bays, Oncology services and an Endoscopy Suite. Duties and responsibilities * Manage the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of planned care for patients * Display effective management of clinical teams, in a safe and caring environment, in the most efficient and clinically effective way * Develop own knowledge and practice and assist others to continually professionally develop * Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas, and work practices * Develop and improve services * Support the Head of Clinical Services in the overall management of the healthcare environment.
