Job description
A vacancy has arisen for a Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Officer to be a key member of this small but fast-growing business located on the outskirts of Derby. The Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Officer role is responsible for ensuring an organization adheres to relevant regulations and best practices in those areas. They typically conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and internal audits, while also investigating accidents and incidents and creating reports. This role also is responsible for verifying the quality of the manufactured products in accordance with our ISO9001:2015 management system. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, pro-active and capable candidate with a confident approach to join a niche engineering firm. Reporting to: Operations Manager Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities * Compliance: Ensuring the organization adheres to all relevant QHSE regulations and standards. * Risk Assessments: Conducting thorough risk assessments of workplace activities and processes. * Site Inspections: Regularly inspecting the workplace for safety hazards and ensuring compliance with regulations. * Internal Audits: Conducting internal audits to assess the effectiveness of QHSE management systems. * Incident Investigation: Investigating accidents and incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions. * Reporting: Preparing and submitting reports on QHSE performance, incl...
