Rate: £37.50 per hour (Umbrella)\n

\n Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced
Social Worker to join the
Child Protection Team at Nottingham City Council on an initial 3-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.\n
\n
\n This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dedicated safeguarding team, supporting vulnerable children and families while working alongside experienced professionals committed to achieving positive outcomes.\n
\n
\n Key Responsibilities\n
\n - Manage a caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans and Child in Need Plans.
\n - Complete statutory assessments, risk assessments, and care planning.
\n - Undertake Section 47 enquiries and contribute to safeguarding investigations.
\n - Attend Child Protection Conferences, Core Group Meetings, and Court proceedings where required.
\n - Work in partnership with children, families, and multi-agency professionals.
\n - Maintain accurate and timely case recordings in line with statutory requirements and local authority procedures.

Requirements\n
\n - Social Work England registration.
\n - Qualified Social Worker (Degree, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
\n - Previous experience within Child Protection, Safeguarding, or Children's Social Care.
\n - Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance.
\n - Ability to manage complex caseloads and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
\n
