Seymour John is partnering with an international manufacturing group who seek to recruit a commercially focussed Finance Manager to be based out of their sales office based in this role that reports into the Director of Finance (Europe) you will be responsible for detailed financial analysis and action plan follow up for the Northern Europe region specifically focused on improving local gross margin tracking revenues costs and associated activity.
Main aspects of the role will be detailed review of customer pricing and price increase tracking special price tracking and analysis to ensure HQ customer pricing is being followed locally. Using this analysis to help with the monthly re-forecast process and giving guidance to local finance and management on relevant data to help build the forecast and annually the budget.
In this wide-reaching role you will be responsible for partnering with a variety of non-finance stakeholders to include the Northern Europe Regional Leader business unit leaders in each country the head office finance team based in the UK and the local finance teams in each local country.
The overall role objective is to improve financial performance particularly gross margin of each of the reporting units in Northern Europe.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
The role will involve travel to the relevant countries Germany Switzerland Netherlands Belgium and Denmark when required. The expectation that this will be quarterly.
EXPERIENCE
To be considered experience in a financial position ideally working in FP&A role with focus on profit improvement from pricing management is highly desirable as well as exposure to working in an international highly measured business with multiple business units and P&Ls.
It is essential that you are used to working in a fast-paced corporate environment working closely with non-finance stakeholders to drive profitability through analysis.
