About you Minimum five years' health and safety experience, with at least three years in manufacturing or heavy industry BSc (Hons) in Occupational Health & Safety, NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and ISO 45001 standards Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards is desirable Experience in policy development, risk assessment, audits, incident investigation, and delivering safety training Excellent report-writing and numerical skills; proficient in Microsoft Office What you'll do Lead the development and implementation of SHEQ policies and procedures aligned with legislative and business standards Drive a safety-first culture by influencing and engaging colleagues across multiple sites Conduct risk assessments, oversee audits, inspections, and incident investigations, ensuring swift, effective resolution Develop and deliver onboarding and continuous SHEQ training programmes for staff, contractors, and visitors Collaborate with site leadership, operations, and external regulators to ensure compliance and continuous improvement This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
