Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver looking for an exciting new opportunity in Salisbury? Look no further! Aligra, recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client, is seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join their dynamic team. Our client is a leading waste management company, and this role offers a thrilling chance to work in a fast-paced environment while making a positive impact on the community. Key Responsibilities: Drive HGV Class 2 Refuse Lorry: * Operate a HGV Class 2 refuse lorry, ensuring all driving is conducted safely and efficiently in accordance with UK road laws and regulations. * Navigate various terrains, including rural and built-up areas, with care and precision. * Maintain a clean and organised vehicle, conducting daily checks to ensure roadworthiness. Assist Loaders: * Collaborate with and support loaders during certain rounds to ensure efficient and timely waste collection. * Assist in loading and unloading bins, ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed. Route Management: * Plan and execute collection routes to optimise efficiency and reduce fuel consumption. * Adapt to changing circumstances and re-route as necessary to meet collection deadlines.
