Job description
ACCOUNT ASSISTANT START FROM £25.50 PER HOUR MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8 AM TILL 5 PM BUT CAN DO OVERTIME Your new role This is a permanent job opportunity, full time office based in central London. Working within a finance team of four and reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): End-to-end Accounts Payable, including managing the inbox, processing and posting supplier invoices, preparation and execution of bi-weekly payment runs, making one-off daily payments, investigation and resolution of supplier queries, setting up new suppliers and updating supplier details, and processing staff expenses. Ownership of Accounts Receivable including raising sales invoices, posting cashbook transactions, completing new credit account forms. Bank reconciliation Assisting with month-end close Supporting annual audit Assisting with additional tasks and projects as required What you'll need to succeed Recent, relevant experience working in a similar Accounts Assistant role with exposure across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable High volume Accounts Payable experience (you'll be managing circa 400 invoices per month) Sage 200 (desirable, not essential) What you'll get in return 28 days leave inclusive of bank holidays Discount of up to 50% at company restaurants, bars and venues Enhanced maternity/paternity schemes Mental health and employee wellbeing support Season ticket loan Beneficial FX rates Life assurance Company pension Season ticket loan
