\nCBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for 2 x Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join a leading Facilities Management service provider, covering a portfolio of infrastructure sites across Kent, including Dartford, Gravesend, Maidstone, Rochester, Sidcup, and Swanley.\n
\n
\n This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to join an established business offering long-term stability, ongoing training, and genuine career progression. The successful candidate will carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a diverse portfolio of sites, ensuring all electrical systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational while delivering a high standard of customer service.\n

\n In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £42,000, excellent benefits, overtime opportunities, and the chance to work on a secure, long-term maintenance contract.\n

  • Monday to Friday

  • 08:00 – 17:00 (40-hour week)

Key Duties & Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across a portfolio of infrastructure sites.
    • \n
  • Diagnose and repair faults on lighting, power distribution, and electrical building services systems.
    • \n
  • Complete lighting maintenance, including lamp replacements, ballast changes, and lighting control systems.
    • \n
  • Carry out emergency lighting testing and associated remedial works.
    • \n
  • Install new sockets, lighting circuits, containment, and complete minor electrical installation works.
    • \n
  • Maintain electrical control panels, transformers, and star-delta starters.
    • \n
  • Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and complete repairs efficiently.
    • \n
  • Carry out basic general building maintenance where required.
    • \n
  • Ensure all work complies with current Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
    • \n
  • Complete service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
    • \n
  • Liaise professionally with clients, site representatives, and subcontractors to ensure a high level of service delivery.

Requirements\n
    \n
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
    • \n
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
    • \n
  • Proven experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management
    • \n
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
    • \n
  • Good knowledge of electrical building services
    • \n
  • Full UK Driving Licence
    • \n
  • Willingness to participate in the call-out rota and work overtime when required
    • \n
  • Must be able to provide copies of all relevant trade certificates
    • \n
