Salaried GP | Hailsham
Salaried GP post has been created from scratch, designed specifically to give a newly qualified GP the space, support and manageable workload to build confidence early in their career. A lighter clinical model, a genuinely low home visiting burden and an experienced care navigation team taking on much of the triage legwork mean this role has been shaped around what someone in their first year or so post CCT actually needs.
LocationThe practice is based in Hailsham, East Sussex, within easy reach of the coast and the South Downs. Eastbourne is around 15 minutes away by car, Lewes around 25 minutes, and Tunbridge Wells around 40 minutes, giving plenty of choice for anyone looking to settle locally or commute in from further afield.

Your Role A four session post created specifically to give a newly qualified GP the time and support to find their feet25 patient contacts a day, made up of 15 minute face to face and 10 minute telephone appointments, with around 30 minutes of admin time built into each sessionA genuinely low home visiting burden, with the vast majority covered by the practice's Paramedic PractitionerNo extended hours commitment, with evenings and weekends already covered elsewhereA supportive, triage led duty system backed by an experienced care navigation and admin teamScope to develop a specialist interest, with FSRH (sexual and reproductive health) experience, or a genuine interest in developing it, considered a bonus
Salary and Benefits
- Sessional rate of £10,500 to £11,500 per session, uplifted annually in line with the DDRB pay award
