Customer Service Advisor\n
Are you an experienced Customer Service Advisor with a background in internal sales or customer support? Do you enjoy building strong customer relationships, solving problems and delivering excellent service?

We're looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our clients busy Customer Service team in Glasgow. You'll play a key role in supporting customers from enquiry through to order fulfilment, ensuring a smooth and professional experience while working closely with colleagues across sales, engineering and operations.
\n

What You'll Be Doing\n
\n - Responding to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
\n - Preparing accurate quotations in line with agreed pricing structures.
\n - Processing customer orders using the ERP system.
\n - Reviewing orders to ensure all customer requirements can be fulfilled.
\n - Keeping customers updated on delivery schedules and any changes.
\n - Providing advice on suitable products, alternatives and new product ranges.
\n - Liaising with internal departments to ensure product availability and on-time delivery.
\n - Supporting customers with technical queries by working alongside the engineering team where required.
\n - Delivering a high standard of after-sales support.
\n - Building long-term relationships with customers through excellent service.
\n - Working towards departmental objectives and maintaining compliance with company quality and health & safety procedures.

What We're Looking For Essential\n
\n - Previous experience in a Customer Service, Internal Sales or Sales Support role.
\n - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
\n - Strong administration and organisational skills.
\n - High attention to detail and accuracy.
\n - Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
\n - Experience using an ERP system.
\n - A positive, proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
\n - GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
\n
Desirable\n
\n - NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Customer Service.
\n - Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, industrial or technical environment.
\n - Knowledge of engineering or industrial products.
\n
