\nWe are working with a secondary school in Tonbridge who are looking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic
Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time maternity cover.\n
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who enjoys teaching Maths through to
GCSE level and wants to join a school where they can make a real impact in the classroom.\n
\nThe school is looking for someone who can step confidently into the role, deliver high-quality lessons and build strong relationships with students. You will be joining an established Maths team and will be supported throughout the placement.\n
\nAbout the role\n
\n - Full-time Maths teaching position
\n - Maternity cover starting in October 2026
\n - Teaching Maths through to GCSE
\n - Planning and delivering engaging, challenging and well-structured lessons
\n - Monitoring and assessing student progress
\n - Supporting students to develop confidence and achieve strong outcomes
\n - Maintaining high expectations of behaviour, effort and achievement
\n - Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department
\n
The ideal candidateWe are particularly keen to hear from
experienced Maths Teachers who:\n

\n - Have QTS or recognised UK teaching experience
\n - Have a strong background in secondary Maths
\n - Are confident teaching through to GCSE
\n - Have excellent subject knowledge
\n - Set high expectations for students
\n - Can deliver engaging lessons that challenge and support students of different abilities
\n - Have strong classroom management skills
\n - Enjoy working collaboratively within a department
\n - Are committed to helping students achieve their full potential
\n
