Your role in our Mission:

We are looking for a VP of Enterprise Architecture to help shape the future architecture strategy for our Engagement Business Unit globally. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, Edenred Engagement, this role sits within the Office of the CTO and will play a key part in defining how we evolve our application landscape, data architecture, and engineering practices across the business.

This is an opportunity for an experienced architecture leader who enjoys working at the intersection of strategy, technology, and delivery. You'll partner closely with global architecture and engineering leaders, influence technical direction at scale, and help establish the standards, patterns, and governance that support long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and champion the architecture vision for Engagement BU applications, data streaming, and AI-enabled engineering practices
• Partner with Global Architecture & Engineering teams to drive platform convergence and standardised deployment approaches
• Lead architecture governance and establish reusable patterns, frameworks, and assets
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems
• Support the adoption of AI and agentic engineering tools across software development, testing, automation, and quality assurance
• Drive continuous improvement across software delivery practices, CI/CD pipelines, and product lifecycle management
• Lead architecture and engineering initiatives through to completion, ensuring alignment and momentum across stakeholders
• Represent the Engagement Business Unit within the Global Architecture CODIR and Engagement CTO leadership team
• Mentor architects and engineering leaders, helping to strengthen technical capability and architectural thinking across the organisation

Skills

We're interested in hearing from technology leaders with strong experience in:

• Application architecture: API design (REST, GraphQL), microservices, event-driven and distributed systems
• Data streaming and processing: platforms like Kafka for real-time data pipelines and integration
• Enterprise architecture: domain-driven design, architecture governance, reusable components and patterns
• AI for software engineering: leveraging AI/agentic tools for coding assistance, pipeline automation, testing, and developer productivity improvements
• Engineering lifecycle: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, product lifecycle management, Agile and DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of cloud-native applications and distributed systems aligned with enterprise standards

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with AI-driven DevOps/engineering tools (e.g., AI code review, testing bots, pipeline automation)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation
• Certifications in software or enterprise architecture or Agile methodologies
• Background in regulated or payment/engagement domain platforms
