What Youll Do Teach and assess learners across ESOL programmes at a range of levels Deliver engaging, learner-centred English language lessons covering speaking, listening, reading, and writing Support learners in developing functional English for employment, education, and daily life Adapt teaching to meet the needs of learners from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds Prepare learners for progression into further study, employment, or vocational pathways Maintain high standards of teaching, assessment, safeguarding, and professional practice Inspire confidence, communication skills, and a love of learning What Youll Bring Relevant ESOL, English, Linguistics, or Teaching qualifications (Level 3 or above) Experience teaching ESOL or supporting learners with English as an additional language A strong understanding of inclusive, supportive, and culturally sensitive teaching approaches Teaching or assessing qualifications are welcomed but not essential Why Become a Lecturer?
