About the role: We are looking to hire a Senior Events Manager to join our Brand Marketing team at Myprotein, the worlds largest online sports nutrition brand. In this senior role, youll take ownership of our end-to-end events strategy - leading a dynamic events calendar from concept through delivery, managing and developing a team of event professionals, and setting the standard for high-impact, brand-defining activations. With a strong focus on B2B and influencer-led events, youll build and maintain relationships with senior industry partners, stakeholders, and clients, shaping how the brand shows up at every touchpoint. Youll partner closely with senior leadership, internal teams, and external partners to translate business objectives into bold event concepts delivered at scale. What Youll Be Doing * Events and Activations strategy & calendar ownership * Team leadership, coaching & development * Budget ownership per activation * Senior stakeholder & leadership engagement * Supplier & vendor negotiation at scale * B2B & flagship event execution * On-site event leadership * Speaker, talent & influencer partnerships (in collaboration with the influencer team) * Brand direction for event materials & creative * Multi-market event roll-out * Logistics, scheduling & risk management * Permits, compliance & health and safety * Post-event reporting, ROI analysis & insight sharing What We Look For your Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Were looking for a Senior Events Manager who leads from the front - someone who thrives under pressure, is energised by a fast-paced environment, and brings both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery to everything they do. Youll have a sharp eye for industry trends, a track record of developing others, and the confidence to represent the brand in front of senior stakeholders. * Experience: 5 years of event management experience, including experience operating at a senior or leadership level, ideally within a brand marketing, retail, or corporate environment. * Brand Events: Proven track record delivering large-scale, influencer-focused and PR-driven events (e.g. global brand launches, PR previews, creator activations) end-to-end. * Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple complex, high-profile events simultaneously, from concept to execution. * Stakeholder Management: Confident operating with senior stakeholders, internal teams, external partners, and vendors, including at exec level. * Budgeting & Negotiation: Extensive experience owning event budgets, negotiating high-value contracts, and securing cost-effective, high-quality solutions. * Team Leadership: Proven experience leading, developing, and mentoring an events team, delegating effectively and overseeing event staff or external agencies. * Strategic Planning: Experience shaping and owning an events strategy that ties directly to broader marketing and business objectives. * Crisis & Risk Management: Comfortable managing risk, compliance, and on-the-day issues under pressure.
