Job description
Transition and Progression Coordinator Full Time, 37 hours per week Fixed term until September 2028 Salary: £26,740 - £27,774 Town Centre Campus, Burton on Trent Who are we looking for? We have an exciting opportunity to become a Transition and Progression Coordinator and join a fun and collaborative team who make a real difference to learner success and progression. You will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of transition support for new and progressing learners, ensuring a positive learner journey from application through to successful completion. Working closely with schools, curriculum teams, Additional Learning Support, parents/carers and external agencies, you will help learners engage, achieve and progress successfully. What will you do? Plan and deliver transition, induction and bridging activities Coordinate targeted summer transition programmes Liaise with schools, PRUs and partner organisations Attend reviews and progression planning meetings Identify learners at risk and implement interventions Monitor attendance, retention and progress Provide guidance to learners and parents/carers Work with safeguarding, wellbeing and curriculum teams What are we looking for? Experience in education, youth support or FE Understanding of post-16 transition and learner support Experience supporting SEND learners Excellent communication skills Strong organisational and IT skills Ability to analyse data and target support effectively Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths.
