Shift and schedule for the Mobile Vehicle Technician role Home-based, working 40 hours per week across 5 days (Monday to Saturday), 8am
8pm, working 1 in 4 Saturdays. 1 day of overtime per month = £3,000 additional per year; 2 days of overtime per month = £5,000 additional per year, completely optional

Job Responsibilities for the Mobile Vehicle Technician role Servicing and repairing vehicles (including EVs) at the customers selected location, e.g. driveway or office car park. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues. Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues. Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations. Payment handling through card transactions. Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques. Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
What youll need to be considered for the Mobile Vehicle Technician role Must have a minimum Level 2 qualification in light vehicle maintenance and repair, or ideally a Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent). Must have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles, either in a workshop or a mobile vehicle role. The ability to work independently, make decisions on the go, and follow procedures. A customer-focused approach. Must have a full UK driving licence
