RecruitME is recruiting for a Residential Conveyancer, Conveyancing Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX professional to join a highly regarded Residential Property team in Sheffield.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified conveyancing professional with at least five years PQE or equivalent experience who can confidently manage a full residential property caseload with minimal supervision.

The role

As Residential Conveyancer, you will independently manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from initial instruction through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity

Handling a full residential property caseload independently

Providing clients with clear, practical and timely legal advice

Maintaining high standards of client care and communication

Liaising with estate agents, lenders, solicitors and other third parties

Ensuring files remain accurate, compliant and progressed efficiently

Managing deadlines, workloads and competing priorities

Working collaboratively with conveyancing assistants and support colleagues

Contributing to team performance and service delivery

Identifying and escalating compliance, negligence and anti-money-laundering concerns

About you

You will be a technically confident and experienced residential conveyancing professional with the ability to manage your own files with minimal supervision.

You should have:

At least five years PQE or equivalent residential conveyancing experience

Qualification as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX professional

Experience managing residential property transactions from instruction to completion

Strong knowledge of conveyancing procedures and regulatory requirements

Excellent client-care and communication skills

The ability to explain legal matters clearly and practically

Strong organisation and workload-management skills

Excellent attention to detail

Confidence working with support staff and colleagues

Experience using conveyancing case management software
