Process Technology Specialist

The Blackley Process Technology (PT) team works in close collaboration with Chemical Design & Synthesis and Applications groups and is responsible for developing robust safe and scalable chemical processes. These processes enable the transition of new products from invention through to fullscale manufacture and provide ongoing technical expertise to support and optimise manufacturing operations.

We are seeking an experienced individual to join the PT team. This individual will provide technical support in process development scaleup and manufacturing support applying scientific expertise to drive projects forward in line with evolving business priorities.

How Youll Make an Impact

As a Process Technology Specialist at Lubrizol you will help transform innovative chemistry into safe scalable and commercially successful manufacturing processes. Working alongside global research and manufacturing teams you will play a key role in bringing new products from the laboratory to full-scale production.

• Lead laboratory-based process development activities for new and existing chemical processes.
• Provide technical supportin scaling up processes from laboratory to full-scale manufacture.
• Partner with manufacturing teams to resolve processing challenges.
• Use data-driven approaches to improve quality safety and process robustness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and process technology strategy.

Required Qualifications That Enable Your Success

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with chemical process development and scale-up.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
