- Airbus HelicoptersLocations: Shawbury, Oxford or RAF ValleyPay: £60.00 per hour PAYE / £80.26 per hour UmbrellaContract: 6 months (likely extension)Start your next contract with a global aerospace leaderAbout the OpportunityGuidant Global is partnering with Airbus Helicopters to recruit experienced B1 Licensed Engineers to support critical rotorcraft maintenance operations across multiple UK sites.This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse fleet of Airbus helicopters in a high-performing, safety-focused environment, where your expertise will directly contribute to keeping aircraft mission-ready and operational.What You'll Be DoingAs a B1 Licensed Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring aircraft safety and performance.
Your responsibilities will include:Certifying maintenance and repair work on Airbus rotorcraft (including AS350, AS355, EC135, EC145 and more)Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled inspections in line with regulatory standardsPerforming maintenance across airframe, powerplant, mechanical and electrical systemsSupervising and certifying the work of maintenance fittersSupporting hangar operations, including aircraft movement and general upkeepEnsuring full compliance with UK CAA regulations (Part 145, Part M)What We're Looking ForWe're keen to speak with candidates who bring both technical expertise and a collaborative mindset:EssentialPart 66 B1.3 Licence (Turbine Rotorcraft)Strong knowledge of engine and airframe systemsExperience working in aircraft maintenance environments (ideally rotary)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamDesirableRotary-wing aircraft experienceType ratings (training can be provided for the right candidate)We also welcome applications from engineers currently working towards their B1.3 licence with strong hands-on experience.Working Pattern & Environment40 hours per week, typically between 07:00
