The Role
We are seeking an experienced NIHL / M-NIHL Solicitor or Fee Earner to join our clients Industrial Disease team, managing a litigated caseload of Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) and Military Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (M-NIHL) claims.
This role requires someone with strong litigation experience, the ability to manage their own caseload, meet performance targets and deliver results within a busy legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a litigated NIHL/M-NIHL caseload from instruction through to conclusion
Handle cases in line with statutory legislation, Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and relevant case law
Provide excellent legal advice while maintaining high standards of client care
Work towards billing targets and deliver results within a performance-driven environment
Maintain accurate case management and ensure compliance with relevant codes of conduct and accounts rules
Effectively organise workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Work collaboratively as part of a team while managing your own caseload
What Were Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor or experienced Fee Earner with experience handling litigated NIHL/M-NIHL caseloads
Minimum 5 years experience in NIHL/M-NIHL litigation
Strong knowledge and experience in Industrial Disease litigation
Good understanding of statutory legislation, Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and relevant case law
Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work to deadlines
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Ability to provide high-quality legal advice while maintaining excellent client care standards
Working knowledge of compliance issues, relevant codes of conduct and accounts rules
Proven billing record
Good IT skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Driven, conscientious and professional with a strong work ethic
