What Your Day-to-Day Actually Looks Like

Youll be embedded within ourGlobal Biometrics & Data Sciences (GBDS)team working closely with clinical project teams external vendors and cross-functional colleagues across the full drug development lifecycle. No two days are the same but heres a flavour of what youll be doing:

  • Writing and validating SAS/R programsto produce derived analysis datasets and the tables listings and figures (TFLs) that underpin clinical evidence knowing that every output you produce is held to the highest standard of accuracy
  • Contributing to regulatory submissions(think NDAs BLAs MAAs) - this is your chance to be part of the team that gets a medicine over the line
  • Reviewing key planning documentslike Statistical Analysis Plans so youre always connected to the bigger picture and can anticipate exactly whats needed before its needed
  • Leading programming assignments independentlyacross multiple projects - youll have real ownership here not just task tickets
  • Spotting and driving efficiencies- if you see a smarter way to do something we want to hear it

What You Bring to the Table

Youre not just a coder. Youre someone who understandswhythe data matters and takes pride in getting it right.

Youll need:

  • ABachelors degreein Statistics Biostatistics Mathematics Computer Science or a Life Sciences discipline
  • At least 2 yearsof industry programming experience
  • Solid demonstrable proficiency inSASfor producing derived datasets and TFLs
  • A firm grasp ofCDISC standards clinical data structures and relational databases
  • Hands-on experience withSDTM ADaM Data Definition Tables and e-submissions
  • Familiarity with tools likePinnacle 21 XML and MS Office
  • A working knowledge of regulatory and industry standards - you understand the rulesandthe reasons behind them

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience supporting regulatory filings (NDA BLA or MAA) within a pharma environment
  • Comfort working withR or R-Shiny- were evolving and so should our toolkit
  • Exposure toreal-world data or real-world evidence- this space is growing fast and your experience here will be genuinely valued

On-site Protocol
