Our client is an ambitious, venture-backed medical technology company that is transforming healthcare through pioneering innovation. The business is entering an exciting new phase of growth, creating an opportunity for an exceptional lawyer to join as its first Senior Legal Counsel.
As the company's first inhouse counsel, you will have the platform to shape the legal function, influence strategic decision-making, and work directly with an impressive leadership team as the business scales. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work closely with the Board and leadership team. A trusted business partner, helping shape strategy, support growth initiatives, and build the legal foundations of a company with global ambitions. This role offers a unique opportunity to operate at the heart of a scaling business and have a genuine impact on its future success. Your role is to take ownership of that function, deepen it, and scale it grows.
The Role
As the organisation's lead legal adviser, you will provide strategic, commercial and practical legal support across the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help the company navigate growth opportunities while managing legal risk in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
