An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join a highly regarded Tier 1 Legal 500 ranked Private Client Advisory team based in Chichester, with hybrid working options available. This role offers the chance to work with a collaborative and high-performing team advising high-net-worth individuals and families.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Associate, you will provide expert guidance to clients on the following areas:
- Legal and tax aspects of estate and succession planning
Trusts created during a lifetime or by will
Tax planning, estate administration, and post-death planning
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should bring:
- A strong background in advising on and managing complex wills, probate, lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, powers of attorney and estate administration
Experience in lifetime inheritance tax (IHT) planning and the taxation and administration of trusts
Exceptional financial discipline and the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams and external professionals
Empathy and compassion to guide clients through personal and challenging circumstances
Experience in supervising and mentoring junior team members
A passion for business development and building client relationships
Familiarity with the private client markets in West Sussex or Hampshire (desirable, but not essential)
This role is ideally suited to a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with over 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
