Job description

@Druce is recruiting for the best in the market to be part of our journey.

As the only 200 year old “start up” in London, we get it, we’re not like the rest. That’s why we need people like you (committed to action and highly ambitious) to join us as we develop a market leading platform. We offer our customers not only full traditional estate agency services but also a wide range of complementary housing solutions, to position ourselves at the forefront of the London market.

We are only just starting to unlock the potential of what @Druce is capable of, and our Area Coordinator opportunity will help us achieve this together. This is a highly valuable role within our business, acting as the operational backbone of the area and ensuring our branches, systems and teams are supported to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The role

As an Area Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the branch, maintaining exceptional presentation standards and providing vital administrative, compliance and customer service support to our Sales and lettings teams.

You will be the first point of contact for customers and visitors entering the branch, creating a professional and welcoming experience while ensuring the wider team has everything they need to operate effectively.

Hours of work: 10.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday

The role will be based in one of our West London offices.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcome and greet new and existing customers entering the branch, ensuring a professional and friendly experience
  • Manage incoming calls, enquiries and complaints with a high level of customer service
  • Maintain the presentation and professional standards of the office, including reception areas, meeting rooms and window displays
  • Manage office inventory, supplies, equipment and key management, ensuring the branch is fully stocked and functional
  • Maintain the branch key register daily, ensuring all keys are accurately logged and accounted for
  • Coordinate with external suppliers, contractors and service providers, including cleaners, maintenance technicians and IT support
  • Monitor branch facilities and report maintenance, damage, faults and health and safety concerns as required
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages and deliveries
  • Support Front Office colleagues across Sales, Lettings and New Homes with administrative requirements
  • Assist with new property listings, marketing updates and progression administration
  • Order and manage area marketing collateral, including brochures, window cards and promotional materials
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM and database records, ensuring a consistently high level of data quality
  • Assist with Land Registry searches and wider property-related administration
  • Support Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and customer due diligence processes
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and adherence to company policies, processes and regulatory requirements

The person

@Druce we’re different – and that means we attract different people. Our people are highly accountable, take action and always demonstrate a customer first approach. We don’t sit back and wait for the change; we make it ourselves – that’s what sets us apart.

We are looking to enlist people who embody this through:

  • Experience in a customer service, administrative or sales environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with clients both in person and over the phone
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • A self-motivated individual who can work autonomously and confidently manage multiple priorities
  • A genuine passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience and building long-term relationships
  • Strong administrative skills and the ability to support multiple teams effectively
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office and email platforms
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to resolving issues and supporting colleagues
  • Highly motivated and ambitious, with a desire to develop and succeed within the world of real estate
  • The ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a high-performing team

What’s in it for you?

Aside from an opportunity to embed yourself in the exciting developments we’re working on @Druce, this is an exceptional opportunity to build your career within a forward-thinking London real estate business and gain exposure to all areas of the property journey.

However, we truly believe the success of what we’re doing is underpinned by our people, and with hard work comes reward. So, what’s in it for you?

  • Generous annual leave, increasing per year of service
  • An extra paid day leave to celebrate your birthday
  • Staff referral scheme - rewards of up to £4,000
  • Training/qualification opportunities
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity pay
  • Onboarding clothing advancement
  • Bi-annual work party
  • Monthly staff awards

As an equal opportunities employer, Druce is committed to the equal treatment of all current and prospective employees and does not condone discrimination on the basis of age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race or ethnicity, religion or belief, gender identity, or marriage and civil partnership.
