- 6 month FTC £65,000 pro rata 6 month FTC Immediate start available Hybrid role Closing date 5th August 2026 We're recruiting on behalf of a leading UK charity seeking an experienced Inclusion & Culture Strategic Lead to play a pivotal role in embedding inclusion, equity and cultural transformation across a complex, purpose-driven organisation.

This is a rare opportunity to influence organisation-wide strategy, shape leadership behaviours, and ensure inclusion is embedded into every aspect of the employee experience, organisational decision-making and service delivery.

The Opportunity As the Inclusion & Culture Strategic Lead, you will provide strategic leadership to drive a long-term inclusion and culture strategy across the organisation.

Working closely with executive leaders and senior stakeholders, you will develop frameworks, standards and approaches that translate ambitious inclusion goals into measurable organisational change.

You'll act as a trusted advisor and critical friend to senior leaders, helping embed inclusive leadership, psychological safety and equitable practices across people strategies, organisational programmes and partnerships.

You'll also ensure colleague voice and lived experience are at the heart of strategic decision-making, helping create a culture where everyone can thrive.

Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation of the organisation's inclusion and culture strategy across people practices, programmes, partnerships and services.

Partner with Executive and senior leaders to influence strategic decisions relating to inclusion, organisational culture and equity.

Develop practical frameworks, standards and governance that embed inclusive ways of working across the organisation.

Work collaboratively with People, OD, Talent and Communications teams to integrate inclusion into leadership development, performance, policies and organisational processes.

Build organisational capability to identify and address structural inequities, psychological safety risks and cultural challenges.

Lead the development of learning and capability initiatives that strengthen inclusive leadership and cultural competence.

Champion colleague voice, ensuring lived experience and workforce insight meaningfully shape organisational priorities and decisions.

Oversee the collection, analysis and application of inclusion and culture data to inform evidence-based decision making.

Develop meaningful reporting and metrics to measure cultural health, inclusion outcomes and organisational progress.

Establish strong governance, reporting and accountability mechanisms for senior leadership.

Build collaborative relationships across the organisation, enabling joined-up delivery and sustainable cultural change.

Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to embed equitable, inclusive practice across services and partnerships.

About You We're looking for an experienced strategic leader with a genuine passion for creating inclusive organisations and delivering meaningful cultural change.

You'll bring: Significant experience leading organisation-wide inclusion, equity or culture transformation.

A proven ability to translate strategy into practical frameworks, programmes and sustainable delivery.

Experience influencing Executive teams and senior stakeholders within complex organisations.

Strong understanding of organisational culture, equity, inclusion and power dynamics.

Experience using workforce data, colleague insight and lived experience to shape strategy and measure impact.

A collaborative leadership style with exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills.

Confidence navigating complexity, ambiguity and competing priorities. xwwtmva

A values-led, reflective approach with a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Experience within the charity, healthcare, public or wider not-for-profit sector would be advantageous, although candidates from other complex organisations with relevant experience are encouraged to apply Closing date 5th August 2026
