Job Description
The Contracts Manager is part of the Legal and Commercial Team and oversees contracts for the full contract lifecycle with clients, vendors, partners, and colleagues, as well as documenting any changes or amendments that may arise during implementation or execution. Construction and/or engineering experience is preferred.

Will negotiate sub-contracts and orders, monitor sub-contractors, consulting closely with other internal and external stakeholders. The Contracts Manager is responsible for assisting with the negotiation of the contract, successfully managing contract changes post-award, resolving disputes, and identifying areas for improvement in contracting processes.
Understands and has experience of industry standard form contracts (for example, NEC and IChemE)
Responsibilities:
- Proven experience of working with, negotiating and managing contracts
Demonstrate experience managing contract values, risks, claims, and performance
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence others to deliver results
Cross-functional collaboration with procurement, business development, finance, and project teams
Knowledge of Health and Safety, CDM, and compliance
Excellent negotiation and team-working skills
Knowledge of contract law
Ability to persuade and influence others
Ability to recognise and resolve conflict
Educated to a minimum of Degree level in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience in Contracts Management
Full clean driving license
Some UK travel / site visits required
