Job description
Job Title: Locum Clinician Job Location: York Hospital Salary: £90 – £100 per hour (Umbrella) Type: Locum, Hybrid (3 days on-site + on-call cover), Ongoing (Full Time) Are you ready for an exciting opportunity as a Clinician within York Hospital? We are seeking a reliable and experienced Clinician with an immediate start to support our team. Located in the beautiful city of York, this role offers an hourly rate between £90 – £100 under an umbrella arrangement. The position requires three days on site, with the candidate needing to be available for clinical on-call responsibilities during off-site times. This role is perfect for a proactive individual eager to make a difference. What you will do: * Deliver top-notch clinical care using a bio-psycho-social perspective. * Engage actively with clinical audits and quality improvement programmes. * Meet responsibilities under the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act. * Make informed decisions based on evidence and collaboration. * Support shared leadership and work collaboratively with the team for service improvement. * Be available for on-call duties to provide continuous care and support. About you: You need to hold an MB BS or equivalent medical qualification and be fully registered with the GMC. Possessing MRCPsych and approved clinician status is essential. You demonstrate excellent clinical skills and have no conditions on practising. You are experienced in clinical audits and quality improvements and are committed to shared leadership.
