Location: Norwich Hours: 40 hours per week some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Salary: Starting from £40,000 per annum Sector: Structures and Geotechnical Highways/Water We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

You'll be working within Kier's 750-strong internal consultancy, Kier Design, supporting the delivery of Civil & Structural Infrastructure Engineering services across a diverse range of projects.

As part of our Structures & Geotechnical team, you'll contribute to both core and complex project deliveryproviding safe, buildable, and innovative engineering solutions that meet client objectives.

Are you A Civil or Structural Engineer with experience in infrastructure projects? Skilled in delivering safe, buildable engineering solutions? Comfortable working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams? Looking to develop your career within a growing, supportive consultancy? Motivated to contribute to complex and high-impact projects? Do you Support the design and delivery of Civil & Structural engineering projects? Contribute to solving complex engineering challenges? Work closely with internal teams and external clients? Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and compliance standards? Help deliver projects aligned to client requirements and programme? As a Design Engineer, you'll support the delivery of schemes within the Kier Design team, including: Deliver safe, buildable Civil, Structural / MEICA solutions across Temporary & Permanent Works Produce infrastructure design solutions across structures, highways, geotechnics and utilities Support bids and tenders with feasibility, outline design and innovative concepts Drive value engineering and alternative solutions to improve efficiency and competitiveness Review third-party designs and manage technical risk across design and delivery Lead or support project delivery, including site visits, client collaboration and design outputs What are we looking for? This role of Design Engineer is great for you if you: Are professionally developing towards or holding IEng, EngTech or CEng (IPD), or equivalent experience Are qualified to Level 6 or 7, or bringing strong practical engineering experience Are an experienced engineer with a background in Civil, Structural or infrastructure design Are able to demonstrate knowledge of industry standards (e.g.

highways, rail or water) Are confident working across multidisciplinary environments and complex infrastructure projects Have a full UK driving license, willing to attend sites and project locations We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
