What you will do * Lead on the auditing of FM Building Compliance and Health & Safety, issuing comprehensive monthly assurance reports to senior management. * Identify, track, and ensure the resolution of any gaps in the annual Planned Preventative Maintenance plan, mitigating risks effectively. * Spearhead the development and improvement of FM Safety and Compliance processes, fostering a safe working environment for all council staff. * Conduct regular site inspections to verify statutory adherence and assess the safety and quality of works. * Review and approve internal and external Safe Systems of Work documentation to maintain compliance with legislative standards. * Build robust relationships with key council representatives and partners through regular engagement and collaborative meetings. * Use the Concerto CAFM system to manage asset information, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. * Collaborate on contractor performance improvements and strategic planning of facilities management services.
