  • Inspection & Measurement: Carry out detailed inspections, measurements and clearance checks using specialist tools and equipment.

  • Engine Rebuild & Preparation: Strip, rebuild and prepare engines for dyno testing, competition events and customer delivery.

  • Technical Support: Work closely with Engine Engineers and the Dyno Team to provide feedback on technical issues and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Documentation & Traceability: Maintain accurate build records, inspection reports and component tracking systems.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, reliability and attention to detail.

  • Continuous Improvement: Support ongoing development activities and contribute to improving engine build processes and procedures.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Essential Criteria & Skills:

  • Technical Understanding & Education: Educated to Level 3 Light Motor Vehicle or Race Technician standard with an understanding of engine mechanics and associated systems.

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical knowledge with excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.

  • Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals and build specifications.

  • Organisation & Time Management: Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively to demanding deadlines.

  • Problem Solving: Practical and proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.

  • Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Commitment to Quality: A strong focus on accuracy, consistency and delivering work to the highest possible standards.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience building, rebuilding or maintaining high-performance engines within motorsport, performance automotive, marine, aerospace or similar precision engineering environments.

  • Qualified automotive technicians, dealership mechanics or engine builders looking to specialise in motorsport engine assembly are encouraged to apply.
