We are looking to recruit an experienced Biogas Plant Manager for their site in Hertfordshire.The strategically important Plant Manager role comes with a salary of up to £60,000 life assurance, employer pension and additional benefits package.If you're an experienced Plant Manager and are looking to work for a leading business within the renewable energy sector, then submit your CV to apply today.Responsibilities and duties of the Biogas Plant ManagerReporting to the Area Manager you will:Optimising process plant operationsManaging feedstock processing and planningWeekly and monthly reporting of plant efficiency, trends and analysing dataProviding solutions to technical variancesSite maintenance and coordination of PPMBe part of on call and weekend shift coverBe responsible for cost control and budgetsManaging external contractors when necessaryDrafting RAMS and being accountable for HSEManaging the relationships with external bodies, such as the Environmental AgencyManaging on site colleagues, such as Operators and EngineersCapable of first line mechanical maintenance and raising more complex faults to an on-call-teamOther duties as requiredProfessional qualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:Qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, such as chemical or mechanical is an advantageMobile Plant (telehandler, loading shovel) licence or time served experienceNEBOSH or willingness to train towardsWAMITAB or willingness to train towardsFull UK Driving Licence is essentialPersonal skillsThe Biogas Plant Manager role would suit someone who is:Experienced in anaerobic digestion or a similar heavy processing environment at a managerial or supervisory levelHands on and leads by exampleExcellent computer literacyA mentality towards a continuous improvement and a genuine passion for the industryExcellent people management skillsSalary and benefits of the Biogas Plant Manager roleSalary of up to £60,000 depending on experienceHealthcare and life assurance25 days holiday plus bank holidaysEmployer pensionBonusOvertimeAdditional benefits discussed at interviewThe chance to join a leading business within the renewable energy sector#LI-AR1INDRENAstute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
