Job description
Help us make a difference to people with life-limiting illnesses… At The Myton Hospices, we provide specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their loved ones, from the point of diagnosis to end of life. We are a much-loved and well supported charity, at the heart of our community. We have three hospices, a range of community services, and 26 charity shops in Coventry and Warwickshire. About the role We have exciting opportunities for Registered Nurses to join our Bank in our specialist palliative care inpatient units in Warwick or Coventry. A range of hours and shifts are available in both Warwick and Coventry. Our Staff Nurses: * Deliver high quality, evidence-based palliative care * Assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of patient care * Work in a multi-disciplinary team with doctors and other healthcare professionals * Act as a mentor for junior staff and students You will help our patients and their loved ones to get on top of difficult symptoms, deal with any physical pain and reduce emotional distress. About you We would love to hear from Registered Nurses with: * NMC registration * The right to work in the UK (we cannot support with sponsorship) This is a nursing role, providing adult healthcare, so it will require an enhanced DBS check, including the adults’ barred list.
