Acting as an extension of their recruitment teams, we connect them with skilled interim and temporary professionals, fostering workplaces where everyone can contribute and succeed.On Behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Design Co-oordinator for a 7/8 Month contract based in London/Birmingham (part-time 3 days per week)Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experiencePurpose of the role:We are seeking an experienced Design Integration Manager to oversee and coordinate design activities across a major infrastructure programme.
This role will ensure alignment between multiple design teams, stakeholders, and delivery partners, driving consistency and successful programme outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate design activities across consultants, stakeholders, and project teams.Ensure consistency of design standards, assumptions, deliverables, and programme timelines.Drive progress against key project milestones and planning submission requirements.Identify and manage design risks, issues, and dependencies.Facilitate effective collaboration between engineering, design, and programme teams.Oversee design delivery through to completion.Support change management and environmental requests as required.RequirementsPrevious experience in Design Management, Design Coordination, or a similar role.Experience on large-scale infrastructure, transportation, or engineering projects.Strong stakeholder management and consultant coordination skills.Ability to manage multiple teams and align delivery to programme objectives.Understanding of planning, governance, and regulatory processesAbout the clientAbout the clientArup is an equal opportunity employer that actively promotes and nurtures a diverse and inclusive workforce.
