Youth Engagement Officer – Jobs Growth Wales+ (JGW+) Location: Covering Abergavenny, Abertillery & Blackwood Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum Contract: Permanent, Full Time Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 4:30pm Inspire Young People and Help Shape Their Future We're recruiting on behalf of a leading employee-owned training provider for a Youth Engagement Officer to support the delivery of the Jobs Growth Wales+ (JGW+) Programme across Abergavenny, Abertillery, and Blackwood. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young people, building relationships within the local community, and helping individuals take their first steps towards employment, training, and long-term career success. If you're a confident communicator with strong networking skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you. The Role As a Youth Engagement Officer, you'll play a vital role in identifying, engaging, and recruiting young people onto the Jobs Growth Wales+ Programme. You'll work closely with schools, community organisations, local employers, and internal teams to promote the programme and ensure learners receive the support they need to progress into training and employment.
