Rate: £24.62 per hour (Umbrella)

Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team in a residential and nursing care environment. This role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional nursing care, monitor residents' health, and support care planning. The position is ideal for a compassionate nurse dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults through safe, person-centred care that upholds dignity and independence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with individual care plans.
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate residents' physical and emotional wellbeing.
- Administer and manage medication safely and accurately.
- Develop, review, and update care plans and risk assessments.
- Monitor changes in residents' conditions and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and nursing documentation.
- Support residents with health, wellbeing, and daily living needs.
- Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Promote dignity, independence, and person-centred care.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, infection control, and clinical governance requirements.
- Support care staff and contribute to the delivery of high standards of care.

- Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.
- Current NMC Registration.
- Experience in residential, nursing, community, or adult care settings.
- Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.
- Knowledge of medication management and risk assessment processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Desirable
- Experience working with older adults.
- Previous residential or nursing home experience.
- Knowledge of dementia care and complex care needs.
- Experience supporting or supervising care staff.
