Job descriptionWere recruiting on behalf of a well-established housing provider for an Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Officer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in housing, policing, community safety, enforcement, or another customer-focused role involving anti-social behaviour, investigations or conflict resolution. If youre personable, organised and keen to develop, full training and ongoing support will be provided. The Role: Youll manage your own caseload of anti-social behaviour, nuisance and hate crime cases, working with customers and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes and create safer communities. This is a hybrid role, combining home working, office attendance and community visits across Devon. Youll manage your own diary, planning customer visits, investigations and meetings effectively. Key Responsibilities of an ASB Officer: * Manage a caseload of ASB, nuisance and hate crime cases from report through to resolution. * Investigate complaints, gather evidence and identify appropriate actions. * Support customers affected by ASB and maintain regular communication throughout cases. * Work collaboratively with internal teams, police, local authorities, legal teams and external agencies. * Maintain accurate case records, reports and documentation. * Attend customer visits, meetings and case reviews across Devon. * Support legal action where required and ensure cases are progressed effectively. * Contribute to creating safe, inclusive and sustainable communities. What Were Looking For: * Experience dealing with anti-social behaviour, challenging situations, investigations or conflict resolution. * Background in housing, policing, community safety, enforcement or another transferable customer-facing role. * Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and partner agencies. * Ability to manage your own workload, prioritise effectively and work independently. * Good IT skills and attention to detail when maintaining case records. * A willingness to learn and develop, with training provided. * Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. * Flexibility to travel across Devon for customer visits and meetings.
